Terms and Conditions

Luo Learn is a live, voice-led learning service for children, run by [Company legal name] (“we”, “us”). These terms are an agreement between us and you, the parent or legal guardian who creates a Luo Learn account. By creating an account or using Luo Learn, you agree to them.

If you do not agree, please do not create an account or let your child use Luo Learn.

Accounts are for adults only. To create one you must be 18 or over and the parent or legal guardian of each child who uses Luo Learn through your account.

Children use Luo Learn through your account, with your permission and under your supervision. You are responsible for how your account is used, including by your children, and for making sure the information you give us about them is accurate.

Keep your password private and tell us straight away at [support@your-domain.com] if you think someone else has used your account. We are not responsible for losses caused by someone using your password.

Your children’s profiles are saved to your account. Lesson history is kept on the device where the lesson took place, so clearing that device’s browser data removes it from that device.

Luo Learn Family costs $49 per month for each child, plus any taxes that apply. It includes one live lesson of up to 20 minutes per child per day. Payment is taken in advance at the start of each billing period by our payment provider.

Your subscription renews automatically each month until you cancel. You can cancel at any time; your plan keeps working until the end of the period you have already paid for, and you will not be charged again. We do not give refunds for part of a billing period, except where the law requires us to.

If we change the price, we will tell you by email at least 30 days before the new price applies to you, and you can cancel before then.

Luo Learn is powered by artificial intelligence. It listens to your child, speaks back, draws on a whiteboard and creates pictures, all generated as the lesson happens. We design lessons around recognised school curricula and review how Luo Learn teaches, but AI can make mistakes: it can occasionally state something incorrectly, misunderstand what your child said, or show a picture that is not quite right.

Luo Learn supports your child’s learning. It is not a replacement for school, a qualified teacher, or professional advice of any kind, and it does not assess or diagnose learning needs. Luo Learn is told to keep every conversation on learning and appropriate for children, but no automated system is perfect, so please stay nearby while your child uses it, and tell us at [support@your-domain.com] if anything seems wrong.

We collect only what Luo Learn needs to teach your child, and we collect it with your consent as their parent or guardian.

• About you: your email address and password, and a record of when you accepted these terms.
• About your child: their first name and how to say it, their interests, their school grade and curriculum, and what you would like Luo Learn to help with.
• During lessons: your child’s voice and anything they type. Their voice is sent in real time to our AI provider so it can be understood and answered. Luo Learn does not store recordings of your child’s voice. A written transcript of the lesson is kept on your device and used to write the lesson recap.

To run lessons we share this information with the service providers who make Luo Learn work, and only for that purpose: currently OpenAI and Google, which provide the AI that listens, speaks, teaches and draws, and Lovable and Supabase, which host Luo Learn and store your account. Each handles the information under its own terms for business customers.

We never sell your or your child’s information, never show advertising, and never use your child’s information to market to them.

You can ask to see the information we hold about your child, to correct it, or to delete it and close your account, at any time, by writing to [privacy@your-domain.com]. If you withdraw your consent, we will delete your child’s information and your child will no longer be able to use Luo Learn.

You agree not to, and not to let anyone else:

• use Luo Learn for anything unlawful, harmful or unrelated to a child’s learning;
• try to make Luo Learn produce content that is inappropriate for children;
• share your account with another household, or resell access to Luo Learn;
• copy, scrape, reverse engineer or interfere with Luo Learn, or try to get around its limits or security.

Luo Learn, including its software, lessons, characters and design, belongs to us and our licensors. We give you a personal, non-transferable right to use it for your family while your subscription is active. What your child creates in a lesson, such as their answers and drawings, stays theirs; you allow us to use it only to run their lessons.

You can close your account at any time by writing to [support@your-domain.com]. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or if we are required to by law; if we close your account for any other reason, we will refund the unused part of your current billing period.

We will provide Luo Learn with reasonable care and skill. Apart from that, and to the extent the law allows, Luo Learn is provided “as is”, and we do not promise that it will always be available, uninterrupted or free of errors.

To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect or unforeseeable losses, and our total responsibility to you for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before it arose. Nothing in these terms limits any responsibility that the law does not allow us to limit, or your rights as a consumer.

We may update these terms as Luo Learn changes. If a change matters, we will tell you by email before it takes effect. If you keep using Luo Learn after that, the new terms apply; if you do not agree to them, you can cancel.

These terms are governed by the laws of [State / country]. If you live somewhere with consumer protections that cannot be set aside, you keep them.
